Shaker Village Long Range Plan, Sabbathday Lake

What started as a building renovation project turned into a moment to reflect and make sure that we were building the right thing at Shaker Village in New Gloucester Maine, a National Historic Landmark.
We worked alongside the United Society of Shakers to create a long-range plan for the village. Other Shaker Villages have become museums, but this is a living community and the long range plan embraces a Shaker future.
