Perched above downtown San Francisco this Beaux-arts aerie had a storied history in need of a refresh. Our approach was to honor the past with a mixture of irreverence and restraint. Original layout was modestly tweaked, molding trim and finishes were refurbished. At the same time wallpaper was added at strategic locations including on the ceiling, a blue lacquered built-in created a study and bar and a wall of silvered mirror made the home uniquely suited to our clients.
