Sowmya Mantha

Sowmya’s path has taken her from India to Scotland to London before bringing her to San Francisco, with each place shaping her curiosity and perspective on design. She was first drawn to architecture through years of graphic printmaking, which taught her patience and an eye for detail she still brings to her work today.

Her international experience shaped an appreciation for how people inhabit and connect with space. In London, her work centered on adaptive reuse, including converting listed buildings into mixed-use developments.

Sowmya holds an M.Arch and RIBA Part 2 from the University of Strathclyde and is working toward her California architectural license. Travel and photography continue to inspire her interest in people, place, and story.
